The Menlo Park City School District is pleased to announce The LunchMaster will be providing lunch service for the 2016-17 school year.
The LunchMaster has been in business for over 20 years and serves many local schools in San Mateo County and the Bay Area. They provide a large selection of meals that are well prepared and tasteful. All meals exceed USDA nutritional guidelines, contain at least 50% organic food content, and include meat and dairy that are antibiotic and hormone free. The Hillview PTO is committed to serving a hot lunch to interested students Monday through Friday. In 2015-16 more than 200 volunteers served nearly 40,000 lunches to Hillview students. Click here to buy lunches from The LunchMaster. Click here to volunteer to serve lunches.
Volunteers Are Essential
We need your help to make this work. We offer lunch credits to volunteers: when you complete a lunch volunteer shift, you earn one free lunch for your child! This is also a great way to stay connected with your teenager and share their experience in middle school. You can sign up to volunteer once a week, twice per month or once per month. Lunch shifts are Monday – Friday, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Food Provider is The LunchMaster
The food provider for Hillview hot lunch is The LunchMaster. They are a web-based food supplier that allows parents to order lunch online for as many days as they choose, and for multiple schools. Meals are delivered to Hillview’s kitchen, and a team of parent volunteers sets up and serves the food to students. The LunchMaster offers up to 16 healthy choices a day including vegetarian, gluten-free and organic options. The LunchMaster’s meals typically feature a freshly prepared entrée, fruit, vegetable, healthy snack, and a choice of cold beverages.
